Charalambides Christis pissourkotiko traditional halloumi with caramelized figs.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of Pissourkotiko Traditional Halloumi Charalambides Christis 
  • 3 figs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, add the olive oil and heat over medium heat.
  2. Cut the halloumi in half and grill in the skillet on both sides until golden brown.
  3. Add the figs, rosemary, and honey, and continue cooking until the figs soften.
  4. Finally, add the balsamic vinegar, let the sauce thicken for 2 minutes, and serve.
